Southwest Trauma Therapy provides trauma-informed services for individuals, couples, families, organisations and clinicians. Our work integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic, attachment-focused and body-oriented approaches.
We offer both face-to-face sessions in Bunbury and telehealth services across Australia.
Individual Therapy
Trauma-focused psychotherapy for adults experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, dissociation, chronic stress and attachment-related difficulties.
Our individual therapy integrates:
• Somatic and body-oriented psychotherapy

Child & Adolescent Therapy
Ann Harkin provides trauma-informed psychotherapy for children and adolescents.

• Play-based and expressive therapy
Sessions are developmentally appropriate and integrate somatic, creative and attachment-based approaches.
Couple's Counseling
Structured, trauma-informed couples therapy focused on attachment repair and relational healing.
We begin with:
• An initial couples assessment
• individual session per partner
• Guided dialogue-based couples sessions
Our approach supports partners to:
• Feel seen and heard
• Interrupt reactive conflict cycles
• Repair attachment wounds
• Build emotional safety and reconnection
Available in 90-minute sessions or extended formats.
Couples Coaching Intensives
Couples intensives provide deeper therapeutic work over extended sessions or weekend formats.
These sessions are ideal for couples experiencing:
• Ongoing conflict
• Betrayal or rupture

• Major relational transitions
Intensives allow for accelerated progress within a contained and structured framework.
Couples Retreats
Immersive multi-day retreats designed for couples who have completed foundational therapy work.
